

Hamari Chemicals Ltd, known at the time as Hama Physical and Chemical
Research Institute, was established in December of 1948 in Osaka,
Japan. Four years later in 1952, the company was renamed Hamari Chemicals
Ltd.
In 1968 Hamari Chemicals was the first company to successfully industrialize
L-Dopa. Our Yonezawa plant began producing Ibuprofen
in 1981.
Later, in 1984, Yonezawa Hamari Chemicals Ltd registered DMF with
the FDA, USA, and the first international patent was acquired in
the USA with Diltiazem Hydrochloride. Hamari Chemicals Ltd then registered
DMF with the FDA, USA, in 1992.
1998 was an exciting year as Hamari celebrated its 50th anniversary.
In February of 2001, Yonezawa Hamari Chemicals Ltd received ISO14001
certification.
Hamari know has three factories and offices in Japan, the USA, Europe,
and China.
Yonezawa Hamari passed an FDA inspection in April 2006.
