Dear Customers.

We expect return to 100% of normal operations by April 4 which will include the night shift.

The power situation is improving with no scheduled rolling power outages though Tohoku Electric may schedule one depending on demand.

The gasoline rationing is now easing and deliveries are starting to resume.

Dear Customers.

We inform you present situation of our Yonezawa facility after the earthquake which hit Japan on Mar.11 as follows;

1. All Employee are safe
2. The facility has suffered no big damage
3. The products in inventory/under manufacturing are in order.
4. Supply chain of various raw materials is being reviewed.
5. The transportation recovery situation is not clear at moment.

As our commercial facility locates in East-North Japan area, fortunately our facility was pretty far from the seismic center, we have not sustained big damage and the water supply as well as the electric power have not stopped in Yonezawa industries area, where our plant is located. However, until safe operating condition is fully confirmed, Yonezawa facility stopped its operation including manufacturing, delivery, etc. as of Mar.11 afternoon.

We are checking the following points.

1) The condition of all equipments
2) The raw material supply chain situation
3) The transportation recovery situation

We will decide shortly when operation at Yonezawa facility can be resumed.

Our Head office/Osaka facility is working without any influence of this earthquake.
